It all started when…

Like many people, I was born (shoutout ron burgundy).
I grew up alongside my twin brother as an Illinois boy on the outskirts of Chicago.

Stumbling out of high school I was steered towards Columbia College Chicago where I fell in love with the city, and started my journey into the craft of cinematography.

I started off working with friends on the lighting side of things, Gaffing small commercials and music videos for local artists like Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa, to give a sense of the time.

Further along, a canon 5d and a showreel later, i started working with local production companies as a freelance shooter on industrials and branded content. I even did a couple seasons as a camera operator for a VH1 reality show involving tattoos called Black Ink. that was wild.

Working with the Chicago Bulls on a docuseries and TV spot, are some of my fondest memories, as I grew up watching the 90s bulls with michael Jordan and the man i wish i was related to, steve kerr.

Now, a pandemic later, I’m in Los Angeles with my wife and dog, enjoying the outdoors and shooting commercial, doc, Branded, narrative, and hungry for more.
